Banana Bread

The easiest recipe.

I usually bake because I’m craving for it. Chocolate cake, carrot cake, cookies are all because I prefer to find and make the ones I enjoy, other than trying to find something in German bakeries. And this banana bread is one of those recipes that’s so easy and quick, you can make it in the morning and have it for breakfast.

베이킹을 좋아하기도 하지만 개인적으로 내가 먹고 싶어서 만드는 것이 대부분. 수많은 레시피 중에서도 제일 눈에 띄는 것들은 무엇보다도 재료가 간단하고 되도록이면 그릇이나 사용해야하는 주방용품이 적은 것. 특히 한 그릇으로 끝낼 수 있는 레시피들을 선호한다. 이 바나나브레드가 그런 레시피. 너무 쉽고 간단해서 아침에 일어나서 만들고 브런치로 먹을 수 있을 정도.

The original recipe calls for 1 full cup of sugar, but I halved it since I don’t like it to be too sweet and the bananas usually do the trick. I also add any type of nuts I have, usually walnuts or a mix of almonds and walnuts. No need for a mixer and can be made with only one mixing bowl. It doesn’t get any easier than this.

레시피에는 설탕을 1컵을 넣으라고 나와있지만 미국 레시피인것을 감안, 반컵으로 줄였는데도 달다. 그냥 반컵으로 가는걸로.

Banana Bread
Recipe Type: Bread

Ingredients
  • 2-3 bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter or vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup of any type of nuts
  • 바나나 2,3개
  • 버터 혹은 식물성 기름 1/3컵
  • 1/2컵 (조금 더 단맛을 원한다면 1컵)
  • 달걀 1개
  • 바닐라 엑스트랙트: 1 티스푼
  • 베이킹 소다: 1 티스푼
  • 소금 약간
  • 밀가루 1 1/2컵
  • 월넛 혹은 좋아하는 견과류 1/3컵 혹은 한줌
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 175 C.
  2. Mash the bananas with a fork.
  3. Add in the melted butter or oil.
  4. Mix in the baking soda and salt.
  5. Add in the sugar, beaten egg and vanilla extract.
  6. Slowly add in the flour and then stir in the nuts.
  7. Pour the batter to the pan and bake for 1 hour.
  8. Let it cool and enjoy!
  9. 오븐은 175도로 예열
  10. 포크로 바나나 부드럽게 만들어주고
  11. 여기에 버터나 기름을 넣어서 잘 섞어준다.
  12. 베이킹 소다와 소금을 넣고
  13. 설탕, 풀은 달걀 그리고 바닐라를 넣어서 섞어주고
  14. 밀가루 천천히 넣어서 섞어주고 마지막으로 견과류 투척.
  15. 오븐에 한시간 정도 확인해주면서 구워준다.
