Just look at these photos.
As a former journalist and editor at an international travel related media platform and a newspaper, I still do get a lot of PR related press releases. Some I pass but some I can’t help but to want to share. Like this one, which is a new luxury resort in the Bahamas: Grand Hyatt Baha Mar.
It opened in April, is one of the three properties at the largest development in the Western Hemisphere and has 1,800 guestrooms and suites. You would think that being in the Bahamas you wouldn’t really need a pool, but from my experience, the more choices, the better. The resort has seven multi-level pools with swim up bars (dreamy) and aquarium, a flamingo sanctuary (for instagrammers, of course), the Caribbean’s largest casino with beach views, a golf course…
I’ve always been a white wall kind of person, but this navy/cobalt blue wall is beautiful. I wonder… And they have Nespresso machines. Sigh.
- The rates start in the mid $300s.
- This would be a perfect getaway for summer, honeymoon or even a wedding.
- Close to the Cable Beach, the private Blue Lagoon Island, the Pirates of Nassau Museum.
