A very typical view of the roofs and beaches of Santorini, any honeymooner’s dream.
I remember when there was a time when Santorini was the place to be when it came to honeymooning. Now I find that many Koreans tend to go to more exotic destinations like Bora Bora, the Maldives and Hawaii. Perhaps it’s because there’s just more to do, or it’s easier to get to, but there was a time when Santorini was every honeymooner’s dream. And why shouldn’t it be? It’s one of those places where the scenery is quite enough. But the roofs do give a bit of character.
This was where we had breakfast. Amazing view. I think I gave out a sigh every three minutes. All we did everyday, or the two days, was walk around, go into those small souvenir shops that sold cheap souvenirs, pretty hand painted dishes, shirts and shorts in every beige and white color in the world, take photos of random cats and drink fresh fruit juices.
Some say the colors white and blue are based on the Greek flag, others say it’s purely coincidence, but whatever reason, it does make a statement. And happens to be one of the most recognized skylines in the world. For more about Santorini and its famous streets, here’s another post.

Thanks sweetie 😀 I can’t take all the credit, it was the scenery really. 🙂
