Perfect museum to enjoy your time, eyes and tired feet.
I like museums. I can do almost any museum, with the exception of museums related to ghosts, horror anything or murder anything. It doesn’t take much, but when it comes to overall satisfaction, I would pick the Musée d’Orsay in Paris. Not too big, not too overwhelming. Perfect number of stairs, perfect size, ambiance, number of people, number of CCTVs and perfect number and quality of artworks.
Artworks included are those by Monet, Degas, Manet, Remoir and Van Gogh and there are some 2,300 paintings and 1,500 sculptures lined up up, down and between the halls and rooms. It’s great that they don’t have the artworks displayed in a large room divided by walls, like many other museums: so many small, big, medium sized rooms, long halls, small halls, rooms with windows, rooms with clocks, rooms with a view.
