Florence: Sandwich and wine

November 20, 2014 by rachelsanghee

It all comes down to good bread and wine. florencewine1

If it’s crowded, at least make the effort to see what’s going on. In Italy, it can be anything really. It can be a really cute dog, or two dogs playing with each other, a little quarrel between two people or a really good sandwich place. I Due Fratellini, a tiny hole-in-the-wall sandwich place, just happened to be one of those places. We were walking along the chilly streets of Florence, looked into a damp, narrow street and saw a party of Italians drinking wine and eating sandwiches.

It’s a tiny place with a wall of various type of wines (I dare you order a coke) and a handful of tasty sandwich selections. In fact, it’s smothered with raves from international food critics, magazines and websites. Not to mention the line of people waiting for a small, modest sandwich with a glass of wine, with not even a single table to chair in sight.

이런게 Give and Take인가.
