I’ve written more about the actual event in last year’s post, but the biggest difference would be the 25th anniversary and that there were kids’ brands, which was perfect because if you didn’t know, we live with a little monkey.
So many cute kids’ brands! Instagram is the worst when it comes to saving money and not feeling bad for not having everything you want for your kid. But then, when it comes to inspiration, best place ever. And with its new save it option, endless possibilities.
We are moving homes later this year and we’re thinking of changing up our furniture scene quite a bit so naturally I was very much interested in all the furniture. It makes up a big part at Blickfang and this year, there were a lot of interesting brands to choose from. Like Baltic Design Shop, Holz Specht and Emile van Hoogdalem.
Tables, tables, gimme all the tables.
To celebrate the anniversary, Studio Besau-Marguerre created a special edition of their Tischtuch or their tablecloth, which is beautiful. Loved the bright blue and the dipped-in technique. Lovely, lovely, lovely.
Banana leaves everywhere. I first saw this trend on YouTube and now everywhere, from pillows, wallpaper, wrapping paper and interior decor. When will it end? Do I need to get me some?
The event continues in Basel (April 21-23), Wien (October 27-29), Zurich (November 10-12). For more info, visit here or to shop, here.
Some of my personal favorites:
- Baltic Design Shop: their sofas and chairs.
- Holz Specht: vanities and tables.
- Lille Mus: cloud keychains!
- Studio delle Alpi: the little wood tables and toys.
- Ontwerpduo: the colors and shapes of their products are just lovely.
- Karina Wendt: Blush toned glassware.
