We went to a birthday brunch at the Park Inn the past weekend. Not A’s birthday but G, which is only 10 days apart from the little one. It was rainy and windy, but we made the best of it. I think.
One of the best things of sending A to the Kita is that you get your free time and yes, they do really learn to socialize with others (I swear she learned how to use her cup from other kids and I think she’s also learning to use her spoon.) but one of the worst things is that you can’t really see what they are doing without you. I’m a pretty nosy person and I want to know how she’s doing with other kids, how other kids are acting around her, is she a difficult child, easy going and is she walking!?
I went to pick her up a few days before and I caught her trying to get up this little ramp with stairs. We don’t have anything like it at home and I obviously don’t let her play too near the stairs, but the teacher told me she’s really good at climbing up, or walking up the stairs. She does two steps and then she comes back down. WHAT. I thought she couldn’t even walk by herself yet. I feel like I’m missing out on these little details, but then, you can’t really be there for every single moment, right?
According to her teachers, she’s not a very difficult child. Uncompleziert, which means not complicated. For now.
Hello, favorite gelato place in the world.
Oh and is it just her or do all kids throw things on the floor when they don’t want it. She knows exactly what she’s doing, throwing her spoon or fork on the floor. Sigh.
- Walking! Five steps is her highest score.
- Throwing everything on the floor. On. Purpose.
- If you take away something she likes, she’ll scream bloody murder.
- Kind of communicating? She’ll answer in her own language if you ask a question. Like she knows that you’re asking a question and she knows the answer. Naturally.
