One bowl chocolate cake

April 24, 2018 by rachelsanghee

Testing out birthday cake options. I’m in the process of baking birthday cakes for my little toddler’s second birthday and this was one of them. I love A Cozy Kitchen‘s instagram account and this one seemed simple, delicious, moist and pretty to look at and it was all that. Not sure if I’m going to make it for the actual day, but it’s a very strong candidate.

One bowl! So easy and fast. And I love that I just need to clean a single bowl, the cup and spoons for measuring and that’s it.

I skipped the icing/ frosting because I wanted to decide on the actual cake first. A Cozy Kitchen is one of my go to instagram accounts for ideas and inspiration and I need to get her book. Here it is if you’re interested.

She also has a coloring book!

Birthday or no birthday, I think I’ll stick to this recipe when it comes to chocolate cake for the time being. Add in your favorite frosting or even just vanilla ice cream and you have a fantastic dessert.
