A look into the past few weeks and some exciting news.
What more can I say but how strange are times these days? Or what, these past months?

We’ve been mostly home, more than usual families, I’m guessing from the reaction I got from some friends when this first started getting serious. I’m from Korea, where the Corona virus hit a bit earlier than Europe, and so I was already reading and hearing about it from February.

When I mentioned why I was a bit worried to go out, many friends in Germany have mentioned that there was nothing to worry about, the schools will not be closed, this will all pass in a few weeks, I’m overreacting etc, and I have to say, I envied their confidence. I was hoping they were right, that I was worrying for nothing. But now, here we are.
Koreans really tried; wearing face masks everywhere, not going out as much as possible, but even now, there are not a lot people who wear masks in Stuttgart. The government have announced that it is now mandatory to wear masks in public transportations and during shopping, but I’m also guessing this is because people would just not wear them on their own.
As I said, we’ve been spending a lot of time at home (G’s working at home at the moment), going out for occasional walks, but this was also mostly because I’m pregnant. What! Surprise! But the timing is just, well, not the best, I’m thinking. Another reason why going out was and still is a bit scary at times. They don’t have much information on what happens to babies and pregnant ladies when they get infected, so I really don’t want to risk it.

In the meantime, I’ve been busy entertaining the little one, cooking and baking a lot and for the first three months of my pregnancy, feeling really sick and nauseated to do anything, including social media and blogging (thanks to anyone who sent me a message to check if I was ok. So grateful). I’m feeling much better now, so a lot of role playing, coloring, arts and crafts, Cosmic Kids Yoga, facetiming with friends and family and just being a family.

I’m planning to upload blog posts on my past travels, despite the fact we can’t really travel for the time being. Some inspiration for the future, perhaps.
I do hope everyone is well, healthy and being safe. All the best for you and for goodness sake, stay home when you can (and don’t judge when some people decide to stay home most of their time). Please share anywhere (here, my instagram, email) on how you guys are doing, any tips on keeping the little ones entertained, and even just a hello.
